The response by supporters around the world has been overwhelming and encouraging.   A BOX OF KINDNESS” CAMPAIGN WITH OMAR & HANA  Omar & Hana’s “A Box of Kindness” is supporting Islamic Relief USA’s Ramadan food pack, which will be distributed to unfortunate children and families around the world. The partnership is further strengthened by the support of LaunchGood.      The campaign is also supporting Islamic Relief Malaysia’s “Care4Hunger” programme by donating food packs throughout this Ramadan, and other projects that can benefit ​underprivileged children and families across the globe.   Chief Executive Officer of Digital Durian, Sinan Ismail believes that the video and the project as a whole can help instil hope among the community to serve the needy.   “I am confident that with the video that we plan to create, it will then instil hope and compassion among us to lend a helping hand especially to those in need,” said Sinan, positive about the collaboration made with IRUSA and IRM.   Through the partnership with IRUSA, there will be five packages $30, $40, $50, $60 and $70 focusing on different regions. With IRM, there will be three packages of donations, including one for Malaysia.    The “Box of Kindness with Omar & Hana” Campaign   Omar & Hana aims to inculcate good Islamic values among children and families. More significantly, Omar & Hana aims to promote compassion, respect, love and tolerance among young children and families.   The project will involve Omar & Hana creating a new animation that shows there are unfortunate children in the world and aim to inculcate the principle of helping others - especially the children in need. The Ramadan special, “Sufi’s Story - Never Alone” was launched on YouTube a few days before Ramadan.    “Sufi’s Story - Never Alone”   Sufi’s is an orphaned refugee who fled his beloved hometown for a hope of a better life. His story is often underrepresented, and sometimes, completely ignored or forgotten. There are many children in the world who are orphans but yet, their story remains hidden. With this video, it is hoped parents would be able to discuss with their kids how unfortunate some children and families are. Simultaneously, it is hoped that the video will instil hope among us to give a helping hand, especially to those in need.    By the end of the video, there will be a call-to-action for parents to donate to underprivileged kids and families to Islamic Relief.
